Do yourself a favour if you need a place in the area, and stay with Ginni! Her space is safe, very clean and tidy, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The space is well-designed, attractive and perfectly equipped, with a really-comfy bed (plus all linen) and couch, a lovely bathroom with nice hot water, and a well-equipped kitchen area with dishes, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator and freezer, etc., plus a dining table. There is great, fast Wifi, cable TV and lots of storage space (plus a good vacuum cleaner for long stays). There's a convenient separate entrance, and a spacious, pretty, fenced back-yard with direct access to miles of trails and mountain-biking in White Clay Creek Park. There is easy, safe, free street parking right outside of the house. Ginni's place is close to all amenities (grocery, pharmacies, banks, restaurants), Newark and Wilmington. And best of all, Ginni really is a SUPER host. She is thoughtful, respectful, kind and friendly but she always respects your privacy and is never intrusive. My 2 dogs and I stayed with Ginni and her lovely husband and dog for 2.5 months, and we enjoyed every minute of it. I can't recommend this Airbnb space enough, my time in Delaware and Pennsylvania was fantastic, in large part because of the comfort, fun and ease of my stay with Ginni. KB

I absolutely adore this house. I’ve never had wooden swings near a fire pit, with cup holders! The hot tub was just what our bodies needed. The couches are SO comfortable — I love how they recline with the cup holders, was perfect for watching some shows and having some drinks, especially with the fireplace. The first night was a bit warm so we were outside with the fire pit, but when it got cold, we felt all of the coziness of the inside. The golf cart is such a nice touch. Before we left, we explored a little in it. My partner and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and this house is absolutely PERFECT for a couples retreat or a double date weekend (which we will be coming back to do). Ginni is an amazing host, very responsive and I truly appreciate every attention to detail, including the basket of loofahs, toiletries, pancake mix and coffee - so thoughtful and wonderful. The lake is literally around the corner from the house, so we will definitely be coming back when it gets warms again to do some kayaking! Thank you so much for a perfect stay, Ginni!
Cara Pines Lake Chalet
The unit was perfect for what we needed! The extra half bath was nice to have as well as the extra sitting room upstairs. We would have loved to use the balcony but the weather did not cooperate during our stay otherwise we certainly would have. Ginni was always responsive to any questions within minutes. She was always offering to make our stay more comfortable. The location was convenient for visiting our son at UD. The walking path near the building was convenient for walking our dog. Everything was clean and felt very homey. Wawa was very close for getting anything we needed. Large closets were nice to hang clothes. My son enjoyed connecting his Xbox to the big TV in the main living room. We utilized the kitchen table for breakfasts and lunches. The fridge was spotlessly clean so we felt at home cooking and storing leftovers from dinner. Knowing Ginni was always a text away for any questions or anything we needed made her the perfect host! Highly recommend!

Ginni made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived! The house was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Our kids had an absolute blast playing the games in the loft, roasting marshmallows around the fire, and especially riding around on the golf cart, which quickly became the highlight of the trip! Having the golf cart also made it so easy to explore all three beautiful lakes.
Ginni was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions and provided great communication before our stay, including helpful information about what to bring so we could be fully prepared. We truly appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Ginni’s place felt so welcoming, warm and inviting, like home away from home. It was even nicer than the pictures and truly felt like a retreat. It was tastefully decorated and I loved the artwork throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked and I was able to cook meals with ease. Ginni was communicative and helpful and responded quickly when I had questions. I highly recommend her place and will stay there again in the future if I’m lucky enough to find it available. This was the perfect little place for my furry friend, Milo, and I to stay for 4 months while I did one of my optometry externships in Maryland! Ginni was very responsive and accommodating. She even helped me with looking after Milo for the holidays since I'm not originally from this part of the country, which was amazing and super helpful. The laundry area was even renovated during my stay and it looks amazing! I really enjoyed having the opportunity to stay here and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

We stayed at Ginni's place while our daughter was competing in the Maryland 5* Three Day Event at Fairhill, MD. The condo was very convenient to the competition as well as to various restaurants and stores. The beds were great, kitchen was clean and had a huge refrigerator. Not sure we could have asked for anything more. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous place! Ginni was so lovely and gave many local attractions to check out. The space was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect as we were close to my daughter and her Uni, as well as all the cities we visited.

Great location and so spacious! As a graduate student at the University of Delaware, this location was an easy 10 minute drive into campus each day. It’s close to all the restaurants and grocery stores you could ever want. The upstairs offered a nice private retreat for my niece. Also having 3 bathrooms is a huge plus!

I spent a wonderful month at Ginni's place. Spacious, stylish, comfortable furniture, perfectly clean. The woods trail starts right behind her house, I had some magical walks there. Quiet and peaceful. Ginni is a great hostess which made me feel at home in every way. Highly recommended.
